How Does it Work?

Your phone running the Meshtastic Texting App connects to a Radio via Standard Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy which actually has a great range of up to 300 FT. You can also connect directly to your phone using an OTG cable. (Heltec Modules connected to an Android Phone). The Radio connects to other Radios in the group or “MESH” via LoRa 915MHz. All of the messages in the group are relayed from Radio to Radio so the actual range can be many miles depending on obstructions.
